My Milkshake Magic Presentation!

So this week in literacy we had to invent something new, so I did milkshakes.

Lost children...

 

Kia Ora bloggers, this week in literacy we had a choice to do information reports, creative writing, or descriptive writing. I chose creative writing. I just wrote a story on lost children. Insects that are safe to eat....

I hope your having an exiting day because I am. 

It's FRIYAY! And tomorrow is the school holidays.

I'm very exited. Now let's get to the real thing.

Well me and my literacy group have been having choices on what to do so... I chose to do Insects that are safe to eat. I have put my slide up there so you can have a look. There are a lot of insects that you can eat. It's definitely something I will never ever eat in my life. But if I had nothing I would. So most commonly, termites are cooked in a pan, but they can also be fried or eaten raw! THAT'S DISGUSTING RIGHT. Why do Elephants have big ears?

Today I'll be talking about Why Elephants have big ears? Well that's a good question....

So I do have a slide about them up the top but i'm just going to tell you a but more. So Elephants have big ears because so they can hear things easier. Also It helps the cool down when it's hot because they use them like fans. I'm not going to tell you anymore because it's time for you to look at the slides. Lovely lockdown writing

Kia ora blogger's and today is a fun day becauce it's FRIYAY.

Sadly where in Lockdown and have to work from home but it's fun. 

Yesterday I did some writing on a picture my teacher put up on the hub site. It's what we do in literacy time in the mornings. Everyday we will have a new picture to write about. We could either put it on docs,slides or in our books. I did it on docs. We have to put a simile which has to have like or as in it, And we need to put a Metaphor which is something that does not have like or as in it. And a Onomatopoeia is something like Boom,Crackle,Woof or anything like that. Also check out the slide I put up of the whole thing. Hope you enjoy, bye

The Maori Mountains!

Today I'll be telling you about what I was doing for Literacy today.

First of all me and my literacy have been doing this thing called The battle of the Mountains. But I called it The Maori Mountains. So our Student teacher showed us a book about it an told us to recreate it on slides. So we did do that. I have not finished yet but there is still a slide for you to look at. Hope you enjoy:)

Today I'll be telling you about what me and my literacy group have been doing.

We have been doing some research on Tokyo Olympics and we had to pick someone from the Olympics and make a slide on them. I have been doing mine on Kanah Andrews-Nahu. She is one of the best weightlifting girls in the world. She was born on the (18th of january 2001) She won the gold Medal in the girls +63kg weightlifting. Make sure to checkout my slide I put up but have not finished.

Today I'll be showing you my Maori Weather Animation, I did with one of my friends.

So my hub has been doing a slide show of a weather animation, and learning Te Reo at the same time. So lets say it's really sunny outside, you would ask  "He aha te huarere?' and your buddy would answer "He rangi mahana". So now that I've told you, you can go to my slide and see the rest. The Venus flytrap!

Today I'll be telling you about my Venus flytrap.

So a Venus flytrap is a plant that traps and eats insects in one bite. It belongs to a group of  carnivorous, or meat-eating, plants.  This group also includes sundews and pitcher plants. The scientific name for the Venus flytrap is Dionaea muscipula. .... The leaf oozes a sticky substance that attracts flies and other insects .

Amazing Anzac day!!!

my pepeha!!!!!

Hi its Chloe and today ill be telling you about my pepeha!!! so first things first My Hub started to do this thing called a pepeha. Its like were you tell were your ansesters come from and all that witch you would probably already know ofcourse!!! If you have not done a pepeha before you should defently try it. Get some friends or family to help you or you could even convince your teacher you do it!!! you get to add pictures and make it look pretty by adding hearts or somthing whatever you heart wants to do!!! and you need to say ko Chloe toku ingoa but just say your name not mine.it might take a bit to right but its worth it trust me!!!oh and also include you parants and siblings as well.Or you can include your pets as well!!!I just love making pepehas its amazing maybe you should try it. and if you have already done one then make another BYE see you next time!!!
